Lodge Manager - Rachel Watkins Born in Wales, Rachel grew up in England and France, at 18 she experienced her first independent traveling before heading back to Cardiff University and the University of Savoie, France. At any given opportunity she would take to the road and in her time off from University travelled extensively in Central America and again after redundancy as conference organiser. Selling up and joining UKtoOZ an overlanding company as expedition leader she completed 2 full trips from London to Sydney and took a 3rd from China through to Indonesia. Travelling through 24 countries she fell in love with the people of Nepal and knew this is where she would be heading back to work with the local people.
